Why this service exists
The renters this city’s apartment market quietly fails are the ones with a Husky mix, or three cats, or a Shepherd the shelter listed at eighty pounds. The rules that decide their applications sit in pet addenda: breed lists written by insurance carriers, weight caps nobody mentions on a tour, count limits, and fee stacks that only surface after the application fee is paid. “Pet friendly” on a listing site is a checkbox. The addendum is the contract.
Luxe Pet-Friendly Locating is the San Antonio pet-policy practice of Luxe Apartment Locating Group, launching in 2026 under a sponsoring brokerage. We keep a verification tracker of communities across Greater San Antonio — more than forty and growing — logging what each written policy actually says about breeds, weights, counts, and charges, and re-checking it at search time, because these rules change whenever a management company or insurer does. We will not pretend to a track record we have not earned yet; what we commit to is method: written policy first, application second, every fee quoted to you in writing before a tour.
Two boundaries define how we work. We never promise approval — screening decisions belong to each community, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something. And we never help hide an animal; a search done properly makes hiding pointless, because enough San Antonio communities genuinely fit restricted breeds, multi-pet households, and big dogs to match nearly everyone honestly. The service costs renters nothing. Communities pay our locator fee when you sign.
How to reach us
We are a service-area business covering Greater San Antonio — searches run by phone, text, and email, and we meet you at the communities themselves rather than an office. Mon–Sat 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Evenings and Sundays by appointment.
